Many people turn to dentures to replace multiple missing teeth because it’s easy, painless and more budget-friendly. Of course, some people realize that dentures aren’t the idea oral prosthetic for them and find it difficult to adjust. Our Fort Worth dentists Dr. William Ralstin and Dr. Lindsey Horwedel want to make sure that you are fully happy with your dentures. Find out how getting the all-on-four procedure could help improve your new smile.

We are proud to work with an amazing surgical team right here in Fort Worth, TX, who can place your implants once we determine that you are an ideal candidate for this tooth loss treatment. Most healthy individuals who are dealing with some degree of tooth loss can benefit from dental implants. We will first check the health of your jawbone to make sure that it is strong enough to support implants.

Once the implants have been placed, this is when the exciting part happens. We will fit you with your fixed dental prosthesis (e.g. dentures) the same day at the time of the surgery. If you hate relying on adhesives to hold your dentures in place then implants may be the answer you’ve been looking for.

Our goal is to create custom dentures that are designed to fit your mouth’s exact measurements. Of course, if you already have dentures then we won’t need to make new ones for your implants. The next step will be to attach these dentures to the top of your implants. Implant-supported dentures are often recommended if you are missing all of your permanent teeth on the lower jaw, as lower dentures are often more likely to move and slip around when chewing or speaking.

Do you have questions about the all-on-four procedure? Are you unhappy with your dentures and want a more reliable way to keep this prosthetic in place? If so, then call our Fort Worth dental office today to find out how we can help you.
